GADAR-EK PREM KATHA is the Zee Network’s movie production and is directed by Anil Sharma. This film is basically narrating the account of a love story of a Sikh truck driver, Tara Singh, which is acted by Sunny Deol, with a Muslim girl named as Sakina, acted by Amisha Patel. This film also tells the story of riots, rebels and insurrection rised at the time of the partition of the subcontinent. At the time of disturbance caused between Muslims and Hindu after the partition, Sakina was trailed by an extremist fatal gang and then she was saved by Tara. And then she was impressed by this reverence and defensive behavior of Tara, and this respect then grew in the shape of love in between both of them. They soon then get married and had a son. At first the starting of their new life was blooming but it then started ruining when Sakina saw a picture of her father (Amrish Puri) whom she believed had died in rebellions. Sakina’s father was then elected as a Mayor of Lahore. Sakina called her father and her father then arranged her departure from Delhi to Lahore. This was all the Sakina’s father’s trick and Plan, he ordered to make a situation complex for Tara and their son and they were then forcefully left behind and Sakina flew to Lahore to her father. Her father was also an extremist, and he then wanted her daughter to marry a Pakistani and took a part in Politics and indulges totally in Pakistan and disregards everything about India. While after a big wait and gap, Tara finally arranges himself to depart and land at Lahore to re gain his wife and love. But then he faced bile of Sakina’s father and his colleagues and relatives. Gadar reminds you the period of independence when the British played a game and grew the abhorrence among the Muslims and Hindus of the subcontinent. And then a partition took place resulting in Pakistan and India. The film also narrates the story of love, affection and adversity faced by two persons belonging to complete different customs and religion. Gadar also have some flaws in it, but in which two are the major and can’t be neglected. The first one is that the duration of this film is really excessive. And the second is the flawed songs and music that is there are songs which are not in contrast with situations like Hum Juda Hogaye. Overall the movie is good and can have a good reputation and ranking. And can earn good revenue at Box Office and can find a good triumph at Delhi, Uttar Pardesh, Punjab and other nearby territories.
